NETS

Bonner ARES Nets

Bonner County ARES hold it’s weekly net every Monday at 7 p.m. local time. The frequency is 442.500 (+) 131.8 Hz tone. This repeater is located on Baldy Mountain in Sandpoint. This is a directed net, so wait for net control to give direction. If, for some reason the Baldy Repeater is not operating, we will use our Tactical VHF Simplex frequency, 146.460. If at 7pm or shortly after, you do not hear the net, or the repeater does not seem to key up, make the switch. You may not be able to hear Net Control on simplex, but be patient and wait a few minutes for check-ins to begin, there most certainly is someone near you that you will be able to hear to relay your check-in to Net Control.

On the 2nd Monday of the month, following our repeater net, we hold a digital net. The frequency is 146.480 FM Simplex using FLDigi mode MFSK32 at 1000 on the waterfall. This is a directed net, so wait for net control to begin the digital portion of the net. There may be occasions when the Alternate frequency is used. Listen for direction from Net Control. See Home page for frequencies.

On the 4th Monday of the month, following our repeater net, we hold a simplex net. The frequency is 146.460 FM Simplex. This is a directed net, so wait for net control to begin the net. There may be occasions when the Alternate frequency is used. Listen for direction from Net Control. See Home page for frequencies.
